The Community Care Center (CCC) is a Pelham organization established in February 2014. Its primary mission is to provide information, education and resources to support our families and to promote the healthy social and emotional development of our youth.

  • To establish a website for Pelham parents, teens and tweens that provides valuable information and a link to resources regarding issues surrounding emotional well-being, family relationships, academic stress and other anxieties, grade 5/6 and grade 8/9 transitions, social skills, and dating/relationship issues.

  • To serve as a "go to" resource for parents seeking information about issues such as setting boundaries, building children's character, understanding technology, and developing positive relationships with family members.

  • To facilitate youth, parent and professionally targeted programs/services and support groups.

  • To coordinate speakers, films and workshops to educate our community and to encourage conversation on issues related to our children's emotional well-being.

  • To advocate in the community for efforts aimed at raising our children's emotional intelligence.

  • To coordinate and partner with other Pelham-based organizations and the Pelham school district to efficiently accomplish these goals.
